I tried not using it on a trip to Austin, TX, got myself lost, and then turned it on and found my way in a matter of minutes. I bought this from wal-mart.com about a year ago and have not had any problems with it. I love this thing. The only complaint i have is that it sometimes takes a while to acquire the satellites but other than that, it's great. and the bluetooth handsfree feature for your phone works like a charm as well.

I am a tech type person and have harshly evaluated this device and find it excellent. in all respects. The screen is large enough to be clearly visible even in a large vehicle, bright enough for full daylight, easy to program and use and has a lot of extras that are surprising for the low price. I am buying myself one. The first was for the wife who is NOT a techy and she was able to set it up, punch in addresses and use it with ease.

I bought 3 of these for my delivery drivers. They are easy to use and my guys get directions and a hands-free phone in one unit.
